NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Year ended 31 March 2026
1. COMPANY INFORMATION
P2 Technologies Limited is a private limited company, limited by shares, incorporated and domiciled in the
On 24 September 2024, the Company's trade and assets were transferred to a fellow subsidiary undertaking of Iomart Group plc, Iomart Managed Services Limited. Following the transfer, the company is non-trading and expected to become dormant in the future.
Basis of preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the special provisions for small companies under Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006 and in compliance with FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The company ceased trading on 24 September 2024 and is expected to become dormant in the future. Accordingly, the directors consider that it is not appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis and the financial statements have therefore been prepared on a basis other than going concern.
Future developments in financial reporting
Amendments to FRS 102 arising from the Periodic Review 2024 are effective for accounting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026. The company will adopt these amendments in its financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2027.
2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Going concern
On 24 September 2024, the Company transferred its trade, assets and liabilities into Iomart Managed Services Limited, a fellow subsidiary undertaking of Iomart Group plc. Whilst there are some residual balances in the financial statements, the company has ceased trading and is expected to become dormant in the future. The Directors have therefore prepared the financial statements on the basis other than going concern. No material adjustments arose as a result of ceasing to apply the going concern basis of accounting.
Capital and reserves
Shares are classified as equity instruments when there is no obligation to transfer assets. Equity instruments are any contract that evidences a residual interest in assets of the company, after deducting liabilities. The nominal value of shares issued is recorded in share capital.
Key judgements and sources of estimation uncertainty
There are not considered to be any key assumptions, or levels of estimation uncertainty, which could have a significant risk of causing a material adjustment to the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities within the past or present financial year.
